Bird Sounds is a three piece band from Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN. We began practicing in April of '08. It began as Matt Semke (Vocals/Guitar), Jason Zaborowski (Bass/Vocals), and Justin Oerhrlien (Drums)

In August of '08, Bird Sounds played the only show with this original line up and recorded the Girl Sounds-EP.

Justin moved to Los Angeles for culinary school.

Alex Hickman (drums) joined Bird Sounds at the end of August of 08'. Alex played 5 shows with Bird Sounds.

Charlie Smyrk (drums) joined Matt & Zabby in January 09'.

Zabby runs Big Action Records and previously played with Straight To Your Brain (2002-2004)

Charlie currently drums with Deep Sea Summit, Northwoods Band, Sometime Tomorrow
